The Praise in Pink fundraising event that was scheduled for this past Saturday and was postponed due to the weather has been rescheduled for this coming Saturday, February 18, from 11am-1pm.

Faith Believers Fundraisers
The Faith Believers Relay For Life team now has caramel, almond, crunch and peanut butter candy bars for sale. Cost is $1 each.
Tickets for a drawing on a 32” TV, ¼ beef, and a $100.00 gift card from Walmart are being sold. 6 for $5 or $1 each.
The date for the drawing is June 23rd.
The Next Rebuilders meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February 19th at 7pm.
Any men who have been divorced, are divorced, or in the process of divorcing are encouraged to attend to share & support others in ways most folks may not relate to.
Looking for Faith Family members serving overseas
If anyone knows of a church family member serving overseas, please provide Darlene White with their name and address. We would like to send the a “Care Package”.
In addition, we would also like the names of church family members serving in the military stateside or overseas so that we can cover them in prayer.
Corey Barne is listed as a church family member serving overseas. If anyone knows of his whereabouts or who his church family is, please contact Darlene White.
Youth Group Pre-Order Soup Sale
A sign-up sheet to order will be passed around on January 29th, February 5th, & February 12th.
We will be selling bean soup & chicken noodle soup at $6 per quart.
Your soup can be picked up after church on February 19th.
Jail Ministry seeks volunteers
The Jail Ministry is looking for additional volunteers to take part in their program. For more information if you are interested, please call Mike Craig at 439-4927.
Congregation Photo For Sale
The congregational photo taken by Michael Neilson that was in our church directory will be available for $5.00 per copy for an 8X10. If you would like to order one, see John White.
Media Center now open
The library/media center is now open for your use.
It is located in the room directly off the sanctuary (education wing).
We have quite a selection of media available for you to borrow.
Bibles, devotionals, instructional material, novels, music cassettes and CD’s, DVD’s and VHS tapes.
If you borrow something, we ask that you sign it out and keep it for no more than 30 days.
Grace Pantry Donations
Remember those struggling, if we each bring even one item, as a group we begin to make a difference.
This month’s suggested Grace Pantry items: peanut butter & spaghetti sauce.
Please place your items in the Grocery Cart in back of the sanctuary.
Mark monetary donations in your offerings 'Grace Pantry.'
Sending Forth
The Benediction is now called “Sending Forth.”
This prayer will be recited in unison every week before the Postlude. It will be on the screens for all to read.
"I am no longer my own, but Yours. Put me to what You choose, associate me with whom You choose. Put me to doing or put me to suffering. Let me be employed by You or laid aside for You, exalted for You or brought low for You. Let me be full or let me be empty. Let me have all things or let me have nothing. I freely and heartily give everything over to Your pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, You are mine, and I am Yours. So be it. And let the covenant which I have made on earth be ratified in heaven. Amen." (From John Wesley’s Covenant Service, 1780)

Special offering boxes
Two new handmade wooden boxes located near the rear of the sanctuary have been put up to be used for special offerings.
A dry-erase board is by each to write who the special offerings are for.
To request a special offering contact Tom or Helen Fisher or Administrative Assistant Lora Kenworthy in the church office.
Parking
Please be considerate of those who have more difficulty with their mobility.
Leave the spaces on Jefferson Ave. and South Seventh St. closest to the church open for those who are less mobile or handicapped.
Parking is available behind the parsonage — the brick house across Jefferson Ave. from the church.

We need the various groups and committees of our Faith Family to help with the content in their sections of our website.

We will also have an albums section where images from various activities and groups will be on display.
