The Way to God
God made our world and all living things
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. — Genesis 1:1
For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. — Colossians 1:16
May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to man. — Psalm 115:15-16
God made us
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." — Genesis 1:26
Man became a living soul
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. — Genesis 2:7
The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. — Genesis 2:18, 21-22
Adam and Eve disobeyed God (The fall from God's grace)
The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." — Genesis 2:15-17
The serpent, also called the Devil or Satan, questioned God's authority and told a lie
"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. — Genesis 3:4-6
Adam and Eve could no longer stay in the Garden of Eden
So the LORD God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life. — Genesis 3:23-24
It was a sad day for creation when Adam and Eve sinned (The Curse)
Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men — Romans 5:12
God's plan to rescue us from sin was to send his only son
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. — Matthew 1:21
For in Him (Christ Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. — Colossians 2:9
Jesus is God — in human form
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. — John 1:1, 14
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel" — which means, "God with us." — Matthew 1:22-23
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. — Isaiah 9:6
Jesus Christ — our perfect sacrifice
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. — 2 Corinthians 5:21
He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth. — 1 Peter 2:22
The people of Israel would offer sacrifices of blood or burnt offerings on altars to God. But no sacrifice man could make was perfect enough to take away sin.
because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. — Hebrews 10:4
Jesus is the Lamb of God: Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! — John 1:29
Jesus gave his life to save us from sin
Jesus was crucified by being nailed to a wooden cross by cruel people who hated him. But his death was part of God's plan. Jesus, of His own free will, laid down His life to save us from our sins.
Jesus said, "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father." — John 10:18
We are redeemed by the blood of God's Lamb
For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. — 1 Peter 1:18-19
No other sacrifices can take away sin
And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. — Hebrews 10:10
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through Him! — Romans 5:8-9
All who believe in God's son have eternal life
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. — John 3:16
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. — Colossians 1:13-14
He is risen!
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. — Matthew 28:5-6
Because Jesus conquered death we no longer need to fear death

Jesus said, "Because I live, you also will live." — John 14:19
but because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them. — Hebrews 7:24-25
Jesus is the only way to eternal life
Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. — Acts 4:12
I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. — Isaiah 43:11
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life" — John 10:10
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. — Galatians 2:20
Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death — that is, the devil — and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death. — Hebrews 2:14-15
the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin — 1 John 1:7
For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over Him. — Romans 6:9
And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. — 2 Corinthians 5:15
Jesus said, "Because I live, you also will live." — John 14:19

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast. — Ephesians 2:8-9
7. Receive Jesus Christ into your heart and your life.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. — Revelation 3:20
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God — John 1:12

Talk to Jesus in prayer at any time
Thank Jesus for all the good things in life. Praise Him for things He has done for you and for saving your soul. Pray for any need you have. Pray in Jesus' name to God.

Amen." — Matthew 6:9-13

— Exodus 20
Jesus tells us the two greatest commandments
Love for God
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. — Matthew 22:37-38
Love for Man
And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' — Matthew 22:39
Love is the greatest of all
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. — 1 Corinthians 13
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. — 1 John 4:16
Jesus wants you to witness to others
Jesus said, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you." — 1 Mark 5:19
The Great Commission by Jesus: Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." — Matthew 28:18-20
How to know a true child of God
Jesus said, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." — John 13:35
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. — Galatians 5:22-23
Jesus said, "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." — Matthew 6:14
Things God hates
"Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies, and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers." — Proverbs 6:17-19
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. — Galatians 5:19-21
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. — 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
Let Jesus fill you with His spirit and make you clean
And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. — 1 Corinthians 6:11
